The Traditions™ Pirate Pistol Kit features a primitive-style adjustable rear sight, allowing the shooter to predictably put shots on target. The Traditions Pirate Pistol Kit is a .50 caliber flintlock model with a 10″ polish steel barrel and handsome select hardwood stock.

The Traditions™ Pirate Pistol Kit is styled after the single-barreled pistol carried by pirates and seamen alike. The .50 Caliber Flintlock Pirate Pistol Kit is an authentic reproduction of pistols long ago on the high seas. The Pirate Pistol proved to be extremely reliable for the likes of Black Beard and other notorius pirates. The pistols reliability was essential for a pirate who might have to stake his life on his pistol’s ability to provide a back-up shot in what could be a dire situation.

The Traditions™ Pirate Pistol Kit’s primitive-style adjustable rear sight is period-correct. This pistol is a .50 caliber flintlock model with a 10″ polish steel barrel and handsome select hardwood stock. The pistol barrel is rifled in a 1:20 twist, perfect for close range shooting. The Pirate Pistol is compact and easy to maneuver at only 15″ in length and weighing 2.75 lbs. The pistol requires 5/8” hand knapped flint (flint sold separately).

One of the best ways to get a real hands-on muzzleloading experience is to build a pistol yourself. Easy to read instructions guide you through the building process to a finished product. There is no greater feeling of accomplishment than knowing you built a fully functional pistol for shooting or display.
