Pietta™ 1862 Spiller & Burr Black Powder Revolver – .36 Caliber 6.5″ Barrel w/ Brass Frame & Blued Barrel – SPB36 For Sale
The Pietta™ 1862 Spiller & Burr Revolver was one of 4 main Confederate revolvers produced during the Civil War. Not many were produced due to the Souths limited production capacity.
The 1862 Spiller & Burr is a Confederate production revolver designed to supply the Confederate cavalry. However, due to the South’s limited production capacity during the Civil War only about 1500 pistols were ever produced. This revolver is a unique piece that features shared design features of the Remington and Colt revolvers from the mid 1800’s.
This Pietta reproduction is a beautiful piece that is fully functional and enjoyable to shoot. The .36 caliber cylinder and barrel provide lower recoil than other similar .44 caliber pistols making it a more comfortable gun to shoot. Add a unique pistol to your collection with the Pietta 1862 Spiller & Burr Revolver.
